Today’s Priorities

Session Notes

sofIA Meeting (10:30am - ~11:30am)

With: Sergio Arango, Josh Weiss, Gabriel Inchausti, Micaela Bonilla, Guillermina Suarez

Key outcomes / what was discussed:

  • Team walked through their system architecture diagram (3 agents + mentor system)
  • They need user auth/login — each user gets a contained conversation
  • They need conversation persistence/memory — track growth mindset nodes emerging across a session (currently state is lost on refresh)
  • Discussed LLM tuning approach: Reuben recommended single/few-shot example additions to the prompt rather than fine-tuning — cheaper, faster to iterate, no training pipeline needed
  • Reuben suggested building a Prompt Lab so the team can experiment with SofIA’s prompts without touching code (similar to Build-a-Bot’s prompt lab)

Technical follow-ups for Reuben:

  • Help design auth flow (school codes? teacher-generated links?)
  • Help design database schema for conversation persistence
  • Advise on conversation memory architecture for node tracking
  • Potentially build or advise on a Prompt Lab for the team
